From the Principal's Desk
Dear Reader,
Days have wings which help them keep flying towards a destination one cannot predict. It
was only recently when we were extending a heartwarming welcome to 2023, and here we
are, to give a send off to this eventful year with a heart full of bittersweet memories that
came our way.
2023 gave us a lot. It imparted us the confidence to walk like a leader among schools in
Patna. It taught us how expectations can be turned into achievements with planning and
sustained efforts. It enabled us to dream big and have the courage to realise those dreams.
The most remarkable event of the year was the coming up of 'Eduletics International A
British School' solidly rooted in present yet having an eye on future. It has emerged as a
symbol of a foresight, excellence and innovation and is ready to stride on the path to
accomplishments
This month was also important for passing out Grade X students as they wrote the Pre-
Board 1 assessing their preparation for the upcoming Board Exams. Pre-Boards provide
the students with a wonderful opportunity to analyse where they need to plug the holes in
order that they can perform superbly in the boards. Knowing one's grey areas and working
on them can, at times, be more important to prove one's worth in a test than anything else.
Finally, Christmas came with Santa bringing holidays as refreshing gifts for all. The
hustle and bustle of exams gave way to the sleepy comfort of the winter break. A cozy
hibernation too is required to muster the energy back to welcome the approaching year with
warmth as well as a burst of positive energy.
Let us all be ready to welcome this year 2024 with a renewed pledge to make this earth a
heaven of love and compassion for all. Let us work with a new vigour to pave our way with
accomplishments.
Wish you all a meaningful and magnificent year ahead.
Yours truly,
Reshma Singh

different from their big
brother 'Boards', except the
fact that you write these exams in
the familiar environs of your own
school.
These Pre-board exams play a constructive
role in preparing the students for the Board
exams. They get an opportunity to measure the
level of their preparation and accordingly plug
the holes. It is necessary to get such an
opportunity to finetune one's preparation
for the most important examination of
one's life.
The recently concluded Pre-board
exams suddenly increased the
intensity of actions in the school
campus as it was abuzz with
a bit stressed yet hopeful

students' visit to Bodhgaya was

as the nearby sites. Free from
the stress of Pre-board exams,
they explored the city with
their mentors and came to
know about numerous facts of

A Visit
to the
Little boys and girls need tours and trips which do not
frighten them away with long distances but provide
them all the excitement and fun they look for.
Therefore, the school organized a trip to the city zoo
for K2 students. It was joyful seeing them enjoy the
trip. They walked down to every enclosure or cage
accommodating the wild animals, rode the battery
driven vehicles, played and ran around joyfully. By the
time they got ready to return, the fun they had was
reflecting from their eyes and faces. It was a
memorable trip for them.
“Life is a zoo in a jungal.”
– Peter de Vries
“Zoo animals are ambassadors for their cousins in the wild.
– Jack Hanna
PTMs are wonderful opportunities for two important stakeholders in a
child's education – the parents and the teachers. They come together to
explore the best prospects for the children. It's not just an opportunity to
discuss with the teacher the student's progress in education, but a
platform to harmoniously decide and work for the welfare of the child.
After the Post-Mid Term exams, the two weeks remained a witness to these
beautiful meets between the two sides. Most of the parents were
accompanied by their wards and walked out joyfully after fruitful
discussions with their mentors. The school hours on PTM days look like a
festival in progress. A few glimpses…

24 December holds a special
importance for OMK as it is
celebrated as the anniversary of
Maa Sharda's departure to a
purer world. The chief inspiration
behind the school, her blessings
are sought through prayers on
this day.
This year too a short yet grand

auditorium with a sacred aura.

A Visit to Eduletics International A British

It was 24th of this very month of December,
when the entire staff visited Eduletics
International A British School. The warm
winter sun spread itself all around on the
sprawling lawns of the campus. The

Standing by the highway, it leaves an exotic

amazing experience for all to be there and
witness the grandeur of the locale.

26 November is celebrated as Veer Baal Diwas to
commemorate the martyrdom of Baba Fateh Singh

Govind Singh, the tenth and the last Guru of the Sikh
community in India. It was on 9 January, 2022 that on
the Prakash Purab of Shri Guru Govind Singh Ji this
tradition was initiated.
The spirited and young brave-hearts of our school
celebrated
this day with joy and spirit. Through their
presentation, they conveyed to all, the message of
bravery, sacrifice and sticking to the path of justice.
