Dear Reader,
It has been a long and refreshing break from the mon ony the
whole year. The summer holidays are now over, and the students
now appear to be coming out hibernation to resume their walk
along the academic path . The whole juggernaut rising from the
slumber and ge ing ready to move on its journey is a fascinating
thing to witness.
A er the euphoria a good result in May, a kind sluggishness
had ove aken the whole system which was well-punctured by
the energising asanas and pranayamas on the International Yoga
Day on 21 June , 2023. These exercises set the tone for the coming
workweeks and set the ball rolling.
The heat waves, on the her hand , necessitated the online classes
to keep the academics on track . And the smo hness with which
everything was conducted displayed the comprehensive and
impeccable planning as well as preparation behind the whole
process. The entire OMK team displayed u er dedication going
beyond their limits to ensure things turn out as anticipated .
As the weather looks up and hopefully the
fline classes are to
resume , each
us needs to be on toes ensuring every cog in the
wheel functions properly to keep the entire system running for the
be erment the taught.
We feel contented bearing in our minds the progress Open Minds
has made by imbibing in its students an educational learning
technology to produce a generation that is well in-formed and
em ionally sound . A er all this is the only faith our families
have shown in us to make a di erence in their child’s schooling
and we stay commi ed to it.

INTERNATIONAL DAY OF
The word yoga has been taken from the Sanskrit term 'Yuj' which signifies the union
of soul with universal consciousness. This union expresses itself in a perfect
harmony between mind and body, human and nature.
It puts all the clamour of the mind to rest and purifies the whole system of one's
existence. One's understanding of the creation around one widens and life becomes
a smooth sailing through the worldly affairs.
OMK too got into the yogic mode and expressed its solidarity with divine in
impeccable postures and observance of the stances of yoga on the International
Yoga Day (21 June, 2023). A glimpse...

A journey once begun must not be giving in to obstructions like the treacherous heat
of summer or the biting cold of winter. Staying true to this saying the OMK team got
down to the nitty-gritty of the online classes when the city administration extended
the summer holidays beyond the sanctioned deadline keeping in view the heat wave
conditions prevailing in the northern part of the country.
The entire team analysed the needs to conduct the same, made adequate
preparations and conducted the online classes from 21 to 28 June, 2023 with

People come and go, but the memories they create stay forever. The same was to be
witnessed in the sudden demise of an indispensable comrade of the OMK fraternity.
One of the members of the security team, Jay Prakash, set off on a journey to infinite
leaving all those behind him bereft and inconsolable.
A diligent and dutiful soul, he played his professional role with elan and integrity to
the very last day of his life. His dedication to work and sincerity of purpose will
always inspire us all to do our best through the thick and thin of our lives.
