Greetings!

As a part of this distinguished organization I am hugely impressed by the

commitment of the parents, school and teachers to the provision of an excellent

all-round education for our students in our institution. At OMK, we work as a

team together and strongly promote holistic achievement among our students.

The cultural, sporting and other successes of all of our students are proudly

celebrated together.

Our primary goal is to help all students achieve their dreams and nd success in

pursuing life goals. We are unconditionally committed to provide the best

possible educational program to our students. We believe that there are

numerous opportunities, both within our curricula and through extracurricular

activities, for our students to gain the skills that will grant them to be successful in

their lives.

Open Minds avouches innovative school, drawing on the talents and skills of

students to provide a host of educational programmes and projects. The school

last year had aggrandized wholesome participation of the students, encouraging

them to participate in the extensive range of extra-curricular activities. Further, it

was also taken to ensure the well-being and happiness of each and every student

in the school.

With a long and rewarding history of achievements in education behind us, our

school community continues to move forward together with condence, pride

and enthusiasm.

ancient Indian civilization and literature demonstrates the rich heritage of our country. Sanskrit
literature is one of the most relative and practical literature available today that lay the very
foundation of our cultural heritage and traditions. The school celebrated the work of Sanskrit

to create a benchmark and inculcate the love towards this unique language. Students of OMK
stoked with polish speaking skills, presented speeches, dramas and shlokas in Sanskrit. The

life.  Dressed  in  formal  suits  and  lovely
traditional  wear  the  students  were  ready  to
embark on the journey of their future success.
Joy  lled  the  air  as  soon  as  the  students
trooped into Maa Sharda Auditorium where,
the  teachers  welcomed  them  warmly.  The
day  had  its  signicance  on  everyone  as  the
teachers'  performances  really  had  a  never
fading impression. One of the highlights was
the musical performance that truly reected
the  bond  between  the  teachers  and  the
students  as  they  journeyed  through  the
G r a d e s .   T h e   d a y   i n f a c t   h o l d s   g r e a t
magnitude  in  the  lives  of  children  as  the
thousand recollections they created till date
will  become  stories  of  the  past.  The  farewell
party  was  a  roaring  success  creating
memories not only for the outgoing students
but also for the heavy hearts left behind.

Libraries  are  an  extra  boost  to  the
knowledge of each individual. It is a place
where  all  the  world  can  be  explored.  In
schools, libraries play a very important role
while  providing  both  academic  and
general  knowledge  to  the  students.  The
books kept in the racks of libraries are the
house  of  percipience  and  wisdom.  The
d i g i t a l   w o r l d   w i t h   t h e   p o w e r   o f
smartphones,  tabs,  and  computers  can
never  be  kept  in  the  place  of  books  as
these books have a special place in the
heart of students and readers. The school
facilitated  students  across  all  grades  for
being a book reviewer and articulator.

A Test of Knowledge and Communication Skill

VIVA's are preludes to exam season. They put the students on an alert mode. They, in a way, announce
that here is the time to burn the midnight oil, as exams have come knocking at one's door-steps.

On 13 of February, Open Minds Kankarbagh initiated the VIVA for all subjects which lasted till 19th of
the very month. From the buses to the classrooms, one could see the students seriously indulged in the
revision of the subject to be quizzed orally in the afternoon sessions. After all, don't such events help
children set aside the lethargy and buckle up for the nale which is their annual examinations

RADUATION

On 25th February, 2023, Open Minds held anomalous day
as we celebrated the procurements of our young toddlers
marking  it  as  K2  Graduation  Ceremony  themed  as
Bachpan.  It’s  that  big  day  where  the  little  ones  ofcially
graduate  from  kindergarten!  Before  we  know  it,  6  years
have  passed  and  the  child    moves  onto  its  rst  year  of
primary  school.  Graduation  is  a  ceremony  that  is
indispensable  in  the  life  of  each  student.  It  also  makes
parents take pride in seeing how well their children have
eventuated,  their  accomplishments,  their  successes  and
how they adapted and subjugated challenges along the
way in a phenomenal year. Moreover, the performances
displayed  by  the  young  performers  made  multiple
thoughts bubble into the minds of the audience as they
were enraptured by the charm of the acts. It's that time
where  parents  realise  a  sudden  shift  in  the  lives  of  their
children, they were overwhelmed by the condence the
children  had  in  their  words.  The  mesmerising  acts  also
brought forward a probable future where the young chaps
of  today  would  secure  rm  positions  in  the  future.
Altogether, it was a mind-boggling experience for all as the
impact set a benchmark for the future years. Open Minds
congratulates  to  all  the  K2  Graduates!  May  they  always
stay strong, righteous and free!

Annual Exams –

A Gateway to the New Session

Examinations frighten us; they do appear tyrannous and
overwhelming, yet they help us take studies seriously and
keep  us  on  our  toes  throughout  the  session.  They  may
sound  appalling,    but  their  benets  are  immeasurable.
They are the bitter medicines to be swallowed to cure us
of  our  ignorance.  Therefore,  one  should  not  be
intimidated by them, rather face them with industry and
courage.
The  month  of  February,  as  usual,  ushered  in  both  the
internal and class X and XII board examinations. It was a
happy  thing  to  see  the  students,  shedding  the  fear  &
getting down to preparation. Exams do teach them that
every achievement has a price you have to pay in terms
of diligence as well as persistence.

An examination is a two way process :
believe in oneself and back it up with hard work.
