Winter in school calender denotes onset of the exam season. Students gird up 

their loins and get into the exam mode. Teachers roll up their sleeves to initiate 

the revision process. It's like the giant ship is gearing up to dock into the harbour - 

its  nal  destinations;  the  anchors  are  to  be  downed.  All  eyes  on  it,  all  faces 

expectantly look at the culmination of the academic yajna.

We gathered in the month of December 2022, to conduct the Annual Function, 

motivating  and  inspiring  the  young  minds,  and  showcasing  their  talent.  We 

appreciate your assistance and encouragement to make the Annual Function a 

success. We are grateful to you for believing in us and being a mentor to your 

child. 

We extend our gratitude to all the teachers who shaped our students of OMK to 

nd right way, to adequately express their talent. This positive vibes wouldn't 

have come out with vibrant colours, if you've not provided varied ways to bring 

out the inner knack of our students.

The year had bygone with a sizzling performance of the students in the annual 

programme, with a lot of grit and enthrall. We thank the true values and effort 

put by the children to attain a awless event.

Ultimately, it is not the destination but the journey which brings fullment in one's 

life.  Therefore,  let  this  sojourn  continue.  Let  us  keep  walking  on  the  path  to 

magnicence and bliss.

A man's country is not a certain area of land, of mountains and 

woods,  but  it  is  a  principle  –  and  Patriotism  is  loyalty  to  that 

principle.

Open Minds celebrated the __th Republic Day with a lot of zeal and 

vigour  where  our  students  put  up  a  short  and  soul-stirring 

presentation that lled everyone with pride for the rich and diverse 

gifts of the Almighty that our motherland is blessed with. 

We generally tend to think of freedom as an emancipatory ideal but 

true freedom is not about enjoying democracy; it consists in the 

responsibilities one has to undertake in one's personal life too.

Freedom can be well expressed if we as an individual, be it any role 

that we play, perform our duties in the best way we can.

Reminiscing the deep insights and enlightening visions of Indian 

sages will help us discern the real signicance of freedom.

So at Open Minds, we accentuated the belief into every singular of 

creating  a  nation  where  each  and  every  individual  realises  the 

accountability of holding a citizenship and act accordingly so that 

we together can contribute to our country's progress.

A Tribute to the Democratic Nation

Semi-nals  are  no  less  important  than  the  nals  in  a  tournament.  They  provide  the 
contestents the precious opportunity to hone their skills and stances, test their toughness 
and plug their loopholes. The pre-boards serve the same purpose. They provide the students 
a long-awaited chance to test their strength and fortify their defences for the nal ght which 
are the boards.
The school, as is the academic tradition, conducted two Pre-board exams in December 2022 
and January 2023 consecutively. The pupils welcomed these tests with sportive spirit with 
their eyes set on the nale.

Climbing to the top demands strength, whether it is to
the top of Mount Everest or to the top of your career.

Pre-boards 2022-23

It is the hard work and determination that contributes how far you might raise. At some 
point  you're  about  to  stumble  but  if  you're  constantly  doing  what  we  do  –  constantly 
pushing yourself higher, higher, nally to we are able to climb the top most step. The law of 
averages, not to mention the myth of Icarus, predicts that you will at some point fall. We 
have to remember this, there is no such thing as failure. Failure is just life trying to move 
us in another direction. It gives me immense pleasure to share with you our students' 
insignias  on SOF. They stood up high vying their opponents at the district level.

All the roads of persistent practice lead to the land of perfection.

There is always a requirement for a boost among the students so that they can participate in 
varied  activities.  These  activities  help  in  developing  the  work  ethics,  and  enriches  the 
personality of the students. Our K2 scholars are lled with moxie and élan, we brought them 
out by conducting sports day.

The Enthusiastic Younglings

Pariksha Pe Charcha is an annual event held every year since 2018. During the event the 
Prime Minister of India interacts with students, teachers and parents across the country, 
and shares valuable tips on how to take board and entrance exams in a relaxed and stress 
free manner. We enhanced our students', showing them the live show of the Pariksha Pe 
Charcha 2022, helping to minimize stress to the least.

An activity on the occasion of Republic Day was held in the school. Students with much 
zeal and zest has articulated their soft boards with varied messages giving tribute to the 
nation.
