Session : 2021-22
From the Principal's Desk
Dear OMK Family
Greetings!
It has been said and believed since long that for any great work to be done, it is important
to have the right foundation. It actually forms the platform on which the future stands.
This exactly stands true for Foundation Day of school. It is time to reect on the
beginnings that took place and how since the inception changes have come paving the
way for success over the years.
On this day the past, present and future of the institution come together, taking vows to
uplift the institute to the greatest possible heights and dimensions. I should not miss
thanking the founders of this great institution, who have a vision of imparting such high-
quality education to the students. Without their vision and constant support and
blessings, this institute would not have become what it is today.
We are also thankful to the teachers who have been with the institute even since its
inception and guided the students in the best way possible in every sphere of their lives.
This institution does not only produce highly academically qualied individuals, but
people with the overall development and growth. We are also highly thankful to our
extended family, our parents, who have always given us unparalleled support from the
very beginning.
Our institution is a learner, tter, professionally prepared and always exible to convert
to any situations as and when required. Here at Open Minds we value our intellectual
capital, and nurture it through a perfect blend, of traditional as well as contemporary
ways and means, for comprehensive development of the students' personality, so that
every year the society at large is benetted with well equipped professionals who can
signicantly contribute to the value creation process.
We present to you a short visual of successfully completing 9 years of education.
Happy reading!

Diwali is nothing else but an artistic expression of one's inner beauty which takes
variegated hues of rangolis, diyas, and numerous other art designs. It provides a superb
opportunity to both the teachers and the students to exhibit their aesthetic skills.
The amalgamation of colours and light illuminates the senses and enthralls the mind. This
Diwali at Open Minds, Kankarbagh was a celebration of the creative genius that lies
inherent in students as well as their mentors.

THE BEGINNING
The move to make a new school a brand, full of endless possibilities and a dream to
make it big, was attainable only when we stood all together. We met new people who
lifted us up and motivated us, and ones who appreciated us enough. Beginnings may
appear small and insignicant, but in reality, this beginning was the most signicant
among all. Regardless of all the circumstances, we began every day of the year with a
smile, hope and expectation and have made it big today.
Every moment is a fresh beginning.
A proclamation of a new beginning!
THE GROWTH
You need inspiration in order to keep you motivated and focused on improving yourself. We
always are interested in self-improvement; our motivation level is high enough at every step
to be able to sustain interest for long periods. The most important thing is to reward the
progress we made. The small steps we took made us go far. From time to time, we referred to
our plan to remind ourselves of our aims and to re our motivation. We keep connected to our
aims and goals; fullling our dreams and enhancing it with proper improvement.
Strive not be a success but rather to be a value.
Team leaders are armed with confidence!
THE CELEBRATION
The 9th Foundation Day of Open Minds was celebrated with great enthusiasm, fun and frolic.
The presentation was done by members of Open Minds. The energy and passion of the
members were visible in the performances they put up. This was a moment that allowed us to
consider what our aspirations had been over the years; reecting on 9 years of growth, grit
and greatness; celebrating all that we have achieved together; and aspire yet again – as
success is never nal.
It is not the years in a life but the life in the years.
The images are a mirror of our achievements!
VEER GATHA PROJECT
To honour the acts of bravery and sacrice of the ofcers / personnel of the Armed Forces,
other lawfully constituted forces and civilians, gallantry awards are announced twice in a
year – rst on the occasion of the Republic Day and then on the Occasion of the Independence
Day. In order to disseminate the details of bravery acts and the life stories of these brave-
hearts among the students, it has been proposed by the Ministry of Defence that school
students to be motivated to do projects/activities based on gallantry award winners.
Accordingly, the Veer Gatha Project was organized from 21st October to 20th November
2021. Students of Open Minds in this project wrote essays on the 'Bravehearts' across Grades
3 – 11.
Take risk and allow the unexpected.

CELEBRATING THE GLORY OF CHILDHOOD
All our kids today chin upped with smiles as our teachers of OMK celebrated their special
occasion 'Children's Day'.
Teachers performed a song on a foot tapping number illuminating the atmosphere with a loud
guffaw. There was also a play for our bambinos showcasing the importance of their presence.
We did not stop here, further there was an agog dance performance to cheer up our kids.
Our children are the building blocks of the nation and we believe they deserve education,
nurturing and the best of everything.
Do good and good will come to you.
