From the Principal's Desk
Dear OMK Family
Greetings!
We go through several life transitions, different situations, and possibly various phases
before we nally nd our true calling. The key is that we must be persistent and
determined to be successful. Open Minds A Birla school, will always be there if you need
support, guidance, or just an embrace.
One of the biggest challenges in life is learning to accept for who we truly are. Once we
realize that our expectations can change people, the environment takes a good turn. The
problem will arise but we need to materialize our expectations and focus on our goals. If
we nd that we are going out of your way much more, then it may be time to make some
positive noise of happiness.
Open Minds has always fronted every quagmire and engendered new ideas to create a
chuffed environment for all our members. In the desperate times many students were
initially unable to hold on to the new normal. We extrapolated the need and tried to
catalyze and cogitate on every individual need.
We are gratied that the dark shades are repainted with the halcyon days. This has
brought a signicant positive change in this academic session. We were locked in a
chamber of echoes that demanded to be freed from all chains and express individualism.
The school has designed varied activities the previous month to bring out the hidden
creativity among our students. Every individual has crafted the chimera of beautiful
colors and words. We could nd the beatitude in every eye while they brought out their
imaginations which had been battened as COVID had grown into a tinderbox in every
country.
We bring to you the newsletter for the month of October. Happy reading!

'SWACHH BHARAT ABHIYAN'
CELEBRATING OF GANDHI JAYANTI
On 2nd October we marked the celebration of 'Gandhi Jayanti' through
varied activities across all grades. The theme this year was “Swachh
Bharat Abhiyan' empowering the ideologies of Gandhi Ji.
The most enthralling were our athirst 'Primary Kids' who brought out
their acting skills showcasing different phases of Gandhiji. Students also
performed a 'Nukad Nattak' making the all aware of the importance of
cleanliness.

THE VIGILANCE AWARENESS WEEK
The school observed the 'Vigilance Awareness Week' from 26th October to 1st November in the
memory of Sardar Vallabbhai Patel. Corruption undermines political development, democracy,
economic development, the environment, people's health and much more. It is therefore imperative
that the all must be sensitized and motivated towards efforts at weeding out corruption.
It is important to educate our children today to ght against corruption and to raise public awareness
regarding the existence, causes and gravity of the threat posed by corruption. A multifariousness of
activities was held across all grades to generate awareness about the ill effects of corruption.
Oath taken by Grade XI Delta students on "Vigilance awareness."

WORLD TEACHER'S DAY
On 5th October a bodacious celebration was crafted in adulation to the unwavering efforts put up by
teachers at every step. Students narrated speech, presented songs and spoke out quotes of love and
respect for our teachers.

ASSEMBLY
Assemblies provide a tremendous opportunity for communication between the young minds and
their teachers. They, somewhere, become a tool for creative expression as the students get a chance to
use and display their hidden potential before an audience and hone their oratorical skills.
After months, the school could organize assemblies ofine, and the excitement was palpable on
every face participating. The joy radiated around like a thousand lights have come on.

THE PARENT TEACHER MEET
The very word 'school' refers to the combination of three parties – the children, their parents and the
teachers. The system thrives on the possibility of regular communication among these three. It
ensures effective grooming of the young learners. PTMs provide the much needed stage for such a
communication. We had conducted a meet between the parents and teachers across all grades in the
premises of the Shool : This strengthens the bond of communication among all the three parties.
