From the Principal's Desk
Dear OMK Family,
August and September have brought in the colours of patriotism and the soft dew
drops on the crimson petals of a rose. It shows how fast the time ies, and riding on its
wings we y.
The past month was a pretty busy one incorporating galores of activities – the most
signicant of them was the resumption of school in ofine mode – a change everyone
had been awaiting with a throbbing heart, and a pulsating desire there was to meet the
students in person.
Our life is a continuous journey but, Corona was a dream unseemly and appalling. We
learn and experience something new every day. We not only impart in-depth
knowledge of a particular subject but at the same time also ensure competent and
constant growth of the students. Problems exist in everyone's life but we frequently
remind the students not to be afraid of failure but strive hard to achieve success for
excellence and good leadership.
The school is striving hard to make the best possible efforts to inculcate strong values
combining with academics and extra-curricular activities in the children. Converting
every individual into a self-reliant and independent citizen, the school provides an
amalgam of scholastic and co-scholastic activities.
I appreciate every student who shared the joy of participation in co-curricular and
extracurricular activities along with their commitment to curriculum after the school
reopened to ofine mode.
We believe that 'individuals' are the atoms that hold tremendous power within to
serve as agents of change and thus are condent that our students, enriched with a
sense of high morality and social responsibility will be makers of a virtuous society. In
a world of stiff competition, strife and unrealistic aspirations, it calls for sensitivity on
our part as educators to help children understand that predicament is common to
everyone. Problems and challenges need to be faced courageously with conviction in
our principles.
Hoping to keep the congruence continuing, I wish all the members a safe and fullling
period ahead in our journey with open minds to the world of attainment and bliss.
Yours truly
Reshma

Sydney J. Harris says, “The whole purpose of education is to turm mirrors into windows.”
And this purpose has been immaculately achieved by a wonder software we call
'Eduletics' – a genie getting every school related work done in a jiffy. It often reminds us of
Prospero's faithful assistant Ariel from 'Tempest' by William Shakespeare who serves his
master with his magical powers in a tremendously efcient way.
This 15 August, some more features were incorporated in Eduletics making it more
student friendly, 'giving the quietest student a voice' as Jerry Blumengarten calls it, in the
form of 'Just Query'. Encompassing all our needs, it seems to be making the virtual a new
real, more interactive, more accomodating, more futuristic.
EDULETICS
AND
INNOVATION
A happy soul is the best shield for a cruel world.
Something which happens after a long wait becomes a prayer – whispered on every lip,
radiated from every eye and resounding in every heart. And what a bliss it creates if granted!
The reopening of the school in ofine mode had the same magical touch.
Awaited by all – whether it was the teacher or the student – it was like meeting a bosom friend
separated for long. The occasion was so overwhelming, we can simply describe its signicance
in the words of Plutarch,
“He came, he saw, he conquered.'

The meaning of life is to give life meaning.
With prolonged digital education, students had almost lost the connectivity of practical
experiments and experience. The school did recognize this gap and has taken measures to
rebuilt and bridge this gap. The Physics, Biology and Chemistry labs were opened again for the
