Dear Parents, Family and Friends of OMK

Accept my profound gree ngs!

Success is not what one gets but who one becomes. The only way to become
successful and establish oneself as a known iden ty is by developing through ac ons
and self-educa on. Idling around, dreaming and wishing for success will not bring
about any change in one's life. One has to make determined eﬀorts to grow as an
individual. Success is not something that everyone can own. To be honest, the only
way to achieve the best is to just work for it and not speak about it. We, at OMK totally
believe on the aforesaid note and try our level best to achieve the self-set targets.

During the tough me of this on-going pandemic, we have tried to the best of our
eﬀorts not to compromise with the academics. Shi ing our online classes from MS
Teams to Edule cs Meet has helped us execute our teaching- learning processes with
much be er outcomes. Where technology has paved a smooth path for us to steer our
academics through this catastrophe, it is our team that has steered everything which
such balance. We are really fortunate to have a team that is totally commi ed
towards the children's development.

Educa on should not come to a halt. With this idea, we are about to wind up our Post
Mid Term and the assessments are beginning from 17.12.2020. We are really happy to
see our children doing extremely well even during the virtual classes.

We are really conﬁdent that we will soon be able to come out of this unwanted
situa on of the pandemic and bring our lives back to normal.

With the above stated note, I present the NEWSLETTER for the month of November
(Session 2020-21).

CHILDREN'S DAY CELEBRATIONS

The children of the present day will be the stake holders of tomorrow.

Today's students will be tomorrow's professionals. The ones

jumping from here and there today without any botheration of the

future are basically the future leaders of the nation. Their approach

and personality will determine the kind of destiny that beckons the

nation.
Nelson Mandela has aptly said:

“Children are our greatest treasure.

They are our future.”
Keeping in mind the above quoted thought, OMK celebrated the
Children's Day on 13.11.2020. Similar to the Teacher's Day Celebrations,
the celebration was virtual and it was an excellent experience for the
children. The Primary Wing students participated in a Card Making
Activity and the chirpy students made a display of wonderful
handmade cards

. The activity made the day quite an enjoyable one and

everyone had a great time. Down below are a few masterpieces:

Handwriting is a very important skill of the learning process. It is a fundamental
aspect of day- to- day life. Good handwriting skill leads to a better academic
performance.
Good and presentable written work helps build self condence among students and
simultaneously motivates them to have a consistent inclination towards writing tasks.

Taking  into  consideration  the  extreme  importance  of  building  and  strengthening
handwriting  practices,  a  webinar  highlighting  various  strategies  of  improving
handwriting was conducted for students of Grades K2 and 1 on 08.11.2020, 26.11.2020
and 27.11.2020. Parents of Grades K2 and 1 students joined the webinar and they really
had a very informative session. They all had praises for such an envisioned initiative
taken  by  the  school  and  found  the  strategies  really  effective  in  helping  their  wards
improve their handwriting. We plan to organise more such sessions in the nearing future.

THE COALESCING OF TASKIFY INTO EDULETICS

As stated numerous times earlier, OMK completely believes in the principle of 'Change for
betterment!' and always looks for areas where it can take the benchmark of betterment a bit
higher. One of the most elemental changes in the zone of technology was the development of
Eduletics.
Soon after the introduction of such a dynamic platform, OMK was successful in collaborating
with a rm known for its worldwide repute, Google which led to the introduction of its very
own platform for Online Sessions, Eduetics Meet on 30.09.2020. And now OMK stands with
another marvel addition to Eduletics called Taskify.
Let's draw a timeline of how Eduletics took shape.

The credit behind this stupendous addition goes to our young IT handler, Master Ashwin Raj Singh
who is constantly being guided by our director and our IT Team.
Taskify is one such module of Eduletics that can
prove to be of great help. Through this module,
our  students  can  remain  connected  with  the
teachers even after their classes. All the assigned
tasks  can  be  provided  to  the  students  using
Taskify  and  simultaneously  be  received.  It  is  a
very  secure  platform  and  the  tasks  can  be
monitored with utmost vigilance.

For helping out the parents in the smooth usage of
Taskify, training sessions for the parents of
Primary Wing were conducted by our Admin
Operations Coordinator, Mr. Pankaj Kumar.

END AND BEGINNING ARE THE UNDENIABLE TRUTHS. A DAY ENDS AND MARKS THE

BEGINNING OF A NEW DAY, A DAY FULL OF OPPORTUNITIES. WE HAVE COMPLETED

HALF OF THIS SESSION AND WE ARE READY TO CRUISE THROUGH THE OTHER HALF

SUCCESSFULLY. WE HUMBLY EXTEND OUR EMOTIONAL PROTESTATION OF

GRATITUDE TO ALL OF YOU FOR RENDERING UNSHAKEABLE SUPPORT AND

GUIDANCE AND FOR BECOMING A CONSTANT PARTNER IN ALL OUR WALKS.
