Head Teacher
Mr Madhukar Jha
Dear Parents, Family and Friends of OMK
Days roll on and then the years experience the same; what remains
eternal is the confedera on!
Another end is knocking at the door but I won't be wrong to state that
every end paves a path to a new incep on. The session 2019-20 had
been a very propor onate union of academics and ac vi es and OMK
has tried its level best to outshine in all possible fields. Our very own
OMK has come up as a notable winner in all spheres and we believe
that many more success stories are yet to be composed.
But all the a ainments that OMK has in its palm have not been the
outcome of efforts of a singular but of all our associates. We are
exceedingly fortunate to have a scholarly crew of students, a great set
of educators and extremely coopera ve parents.
Keeping the same expecta on alive, we stand at the threshold of
signing off another remarkable session and are all ready to greet the
new session.
With this I put forward the last report of the session 2019-20, the
NEWSLETTER for the month of February and March.

EXSPRINT: THE SPRINT EXPERIENCE
Monotony is the biggest hurdle in one's growth. It hampers the intensity of interest of an
individual and one cannot give the best of performance. Hence, monotonous ac ons
must be broken. To get the best, one needs to divert from mainstream a bit and try hands
in other things as well.
Our kids had been totally engrossed in academic tasks for around two long months and
their eyes spoke how deeply they needed an ou ng to exhaust their stored energy. So, a
sports ou ng cum event called EXSPRINT was organised at Patliputra Sports Complex on
01.02.2020 for all grades. The excitement and zeal was quite evident on the faces of the
kids. Many sports ac vi es like sprint, shot-put, relay race, football knock outs etc were the
cons tuents of the event. The students illustrated an example of true sportsmanship and
fair play. It was a great event and students enjoyed a lot.

FELICITATION OF WINNERS OF HINDUSTAN OLYMPIAD
Rote learning is no more a call of the modern mes. A student needs to match up with the
growing demands of the field of erudi on. To help students develop their knowledge,
quizzes and Olympiads play a pivotal role. They compel students to step out of their
comfortable cocoons and prove their excellence.
Keeping in mind the necessity of the Olympiads and quizzes for the all-round development
of the students, Hindustan newspaper conducted the Hindustan Olympiad in our premises
for Grades 1-10. The gli ering faces of the children a er the test made us enough
confident that the results would be excellent.
Soon the results were published and four of our students , namely Diksha and Akshat Singh
(Grade 11), Adwi Banka (Grade 5) and Md. Rehan (Grade 3) were felicitated at Shri Krishna
Vigyan Kendra, Patna on 27.02.2020 for their stupendous performance. It was truly a
moment of sheer happiness to see our Omkites soaring high.

landmarks and simultaneously have been boosted to inaugurate many
new milestones in days henceforth. We are highly thankful for the
