Dear Parents, Family and Friends of OMK

An educational institution owns disparate spheres that crown it with accolades

and commendations. They are academics, sports, co-curricular activities and

the list seems unending. It can be evidently noted that to hoist the colours of

victory in every sphere is utterly intricate and tough. To be very honest to my

words, our very own OMK has transpired as a notable winner in every zone.

With the belief of not leaving a single stone un-turned, we have been pacing

head-on and working hard round the seasons to achieve our unshakeable

vision and mission. With the same thought, we have eventually signed-off our

another remarkable academic session and are completely ready to embrace

another session, that for sure will greet us with innumerable opportunities and

we exigently hold the thought that the upcoming session shall prove more

promising and help our Alma Mater establish the apex as its ambit.

With the above stated expressions, I present before you all the last

NEWSLETTER of the session 2018-19.

Rote learning is no more a call of the modern times. A student needs to match up with the growing
demands of the field of erudition. To help students develop their knowledge, quizzes and Olympiads
play a pivotal role. They compel students to step out of their comfortable cocoons and prove their
excellence.
Keeping in mind the necessity of the Olympiads and quizzes for the all-round development of the students,
Hindustan newspaper conducted the Hindustan Olympiad on December 12, 2018 in our premises for Grades
1-10. The glittering faces of the children after the exam made us quite sure of a marvellous result.
Soon the results were published and our students were felicitated at CIMP on February, 15 for their stupendous
performance. Our OMK was also awarded the 'Best Gurukula Award'.
It was truly a moment of extreme honour to have been conferred with such a prestigious award.

HINDUSTAN OLYMPIAD

There have been countless moments that have inscribed themselves in everyone's life who are
associated with OMK. Every day is a celebration here, irrespective of the field the celebration
belongs to. The memories of VATIKA were so mesmerising that they were still afresh in our
minds. But very soon we realised that it was time to bid goodbye to another batch of our tiny
tinkles and wish them luck as they would be stepping from Pre-Primary Wing to Primary Wing.

The Graduation Ceremony of Grade K2 (Session 2018-19) was organised with great pump and show on
February 09, 2019 in the Sharda Auditorium of our school. The theme highlighted was 'FAMILY'. The
stage was set to have the charming toddlers perform their best of the moves and actions. The impeccable
smiles of the children made all feel as if they had transmigrated into a different universe. The function was
inaugurated by the traditional 'Lamp Lighting Ceremony'. The occasion was graced by the presence of
our patron, Shri Ramlayak Singh. A flurry of electrifying cultural programmes was presented by them.
Certificates and badges were given to the students in different categories. It was a great success and the
parents of the children enjoyed a lot.

K2 GRADUATION CEREMONY

OMK  is  now  cherishing  the  moment  whose  seeds  were  sown  six  years  back  with  lots  of  expectations  and
dedicated day-night efforts of its founder Mr. Rajesh Singh. The first batch of Grade 10 passed out with flying
colours and proved its merit and excellence in the Grade 10 board examinations, 2017-18 . With the same
expectations,  our  second  batch  also  appeared  for  the  board  examinations.  Their  genuine  smiles  after  the
completion  of  their  papers  have  assured  us  for  their  grand  success.  Now  we  are  waiting  for  the  official
announcement of the result.

It is well said that hard work pays off.

With this line, we feel extremely delighted to share that this Spring Season has harvested a new
accomplishment of our very own Open Minds -A Birla School, Kankarbagh. It is now a Senior
Secondary institution. We are now Plus 2 affiliated. It was something that everyone had been eagerly
waiting. Every one strived hard to possess this achievement and finally we made it!

Thank you to each and every one who stood with us through our thick and thins. We hope to keep
up our companionship in the days to come.
